As a Knowledge Analyst Intern, you will join our Energy Solutions team for a 7-week internship, contributing to projects that help solve some of the toughest challenges in the energy sector.
In this role, you will provide daily problem-solving, structuring, modeling, and analytical support for our Energy Solutions tools and analyses. You will gather information to develop these tools/benchmarks and synthesize findings into McKinsey-formatted products, such as complex models, summary reports, and standalone presentations for internal and external audiences.
You will collaborate with other experts to solve client problems, deepening your knowledge and refining your analytical and thought-partnership skills.
You'll have the opportunity to gain new skills and build on the strengths you bring to the firm. You will receive exceptional training as well as frequent coaching and mentoring from colleagues.

This internship is open to students who are in their final year of university and are available to work full-time fromJune 15th to July 31st. You will be based in our Madrid office.

Requerimientos del candidato/a:
* Last year student of engineering, geoscience, petroleum engineering, or other disciplines with a quantitative or technical focus
* A strong interest in the energy industry, particularly in oil and gas operations, energy markets, and the energy transition. Familiarity with topics such as decarbonization is a plus
* Advanced problem-solving skills with a strong aptitude for working with numbers and quantitative models
* Basic knowledge of Excel and an interest in learning data visualization tools such as Tableau. Familiarity with modeling tools like Python, R, or VBA is a plus but not required
* Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and engage with individuals at all organizational levels
* Capacity to excel in a fast-paced, results-driven team setting, demonstrating a steep learning curve and a strong commitment to coaching and development
* Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas in English and Spanish, both verbally and in writing
* Willingness to travel if required
