Description & Requirements

As an Intern in our Healthcare Consulting group, you will be a valued member of our team and will build relationships with our outsourcing clients. This position will offer you an excellent opportunity for career advancement in our growing firm. How you will contribute:

* Dedicating time to client service while coordinating work for our clients in the following areas: o General ledger maintenance

o Accounts payable processing
* Account/bank reconciliations
* Fixed asset maintenance
* Monthly and year-end closing assistance
* Accounting system consulting and assistance with accounting system design
* Assisting with the training of clients, staff, and other OAS personnel

* Ability to prioritize work for multiple clients and consistently meet deadlines
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Strong computer skills preferred, including Microsoft Office suite
* Close attention to detail
* Satisfactory academic performance in major-related coursework is expected
* Must have reliable transportation to and from your assigned office and be able to attend off-site meetings and events in person
Hours Requirement:

We are able to be flexible with your school schedule providing you are able to:

* Accommodate our normal business hours of Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm
* Have the ability to work at least four days of the week (M-F)
* Commit to at least 20-25 hours per week during the Academic year
Minimum Qualifications:

* Intern candidates must be working toward an accounting degree Applicants for positions with Forvis Mazars must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
