Overview

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an'Environmental Planning Intern to join our Tampa, FL office.

Your Role

* Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, planning memos, and client deliverables.
* Visits project sites and gathers data.
* Analyzes social, cultural, physical and environmental impact of projects.
* Provides written and graphic input for technical memos, feasibility studies, environmental reports and project status reports.
* Coordinates graphic exhibit preparation and/or other portions of a planning project.
* Coordinates technical work requirements with internal disciplines.
* Provides support at public meetings.
* Participate in team meetings and collaborate on project tasks, both independently and in group settings.
* Demonstrate a willingness to learn new tools, processes, and industry best practices.
* Performs such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

About You

* EXPERIENCE: No experience is generally required if accepted into a Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.
* EDUCATION: Must have completed 30 hours towards a Planning degree from an accredited college/university by the start of the internship (Fall 2026).

Additional Information

Expected compensation range is between $23-$29 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
