TikTok's Creation Experience team delivers the core video production technologies across mobile platforms, enabling hundreds of millions of TikTok creators to tell their stories, express their emotions, and convey their knowledge in the format of short-form videos. Exciting new opportunities exist for those who are interested in TikTok's core video technologies of shooting, editing and posting. The technical stack covers various camera and effect features, nonlinear editing on mobile devices, posting and publishing, and a lot more. In this role, you will optimize the performance of TikTok's next-generation camera technologies, collaborate with TikTok industry partners, and deliver the best user experience on a huge variety of mobile platforms for TikTok creators around the world. We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2026. Internships at TikTok aim to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience. Here, you will utilize your knowledge in real-world scenarios while laying a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. It runs for 12 weeks. Responsibilities: - Work closely with product and business teams to build new and innovative camera features for video posting on TikTok using the latest Android/iOS programming techniques - Profile and optimize android application UI and infrastructure code for efficiency and performance. Strive to refine user experience in each and every possible creation workflow for TikTok family of video products. - Stay on top of the latest technologies and work with our industry partners to turn the latest mobile audio/video production capabilities into the best UGC creator experience on TikTok

Requerimientos del candidato/a:

Minimum Qualifications: - Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Graduate in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline. - Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during the Summer of 2026. - Strong computer science fundamentals in data structure & algorithms with good problem solving skills - Excellent coding skills with one or more programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, ObjectiveC, C, C++ or Python. - Strong communication and excellent teamwork skills Preferred Qualifications: - Passion about techniques and solving challenging problems. - Graduating December 2026 onwards with the intent to return to degree program after the completion of the internship.
