INTERNSHIP: BIOVIA Cheminformatics

Role Description & Responsibilities:
As a BIOVIA Cheminformatics Intern, you will support the development of advanced chemistry applications and scientific software solutions:
* Contribute to the implementation and validation of cheminformatics functionalities within Pipeline Pilot
* Support the development of high-performance chemistry search and molecular analysis tools
* Participate in the design and optimization of algorithms for molecular modeling and drug design
* Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to ensure software reliability and performance
* Engage with Product Management and customer-facing teams to support product evolution
* Contribute to innovative research projects with potential for publication
Qualifications:
* Currently pursuing a degree in Chemistry, Computer Science, or related scientific field (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD)
* Strong programming skills in C++ (additional languages such as Python, Java, or C# are a plus)
* Solid background in chemistry or related scientific discipline
* Knowledge of object-oriented design and software development methodologies
* Familiarity with Agile development practices is a plus
* Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work in a collaborative environment
* Exposure to advanced cheminformatics and drug design technologies
