Lara Cosima is a new fashion label that made its debut at the Bal d'Été at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs. Based in Paris, Lara Cosima is dedicated to couture craftsmanship and intricate embroidery. We bring a modern perspective to traditional silhouettes and techniques, creating pieces that celebrate elegance in a contemporary fashion.

Description du poste

As an intern within our couture atelier, you will work closely with the creative director on the development of prototypes and couture garments. This role is ideal for someone exceptionally skilled in patternmaking and sewing, with a strong eye for construction, fit, and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

* Assisting in the full patternmaking process: drafting, moulage, tracing, corrections, and adjustments.
* Transforming sketches into precise toiles and prototype garments under the guidance of the atelier team.
* Executing high-quality hand sewing, finishing, and couture construction techniques.
* Participating in fittings, taking notes, and applying pattern or garment modifications.
* Supporting material and textile research, including fabric tests, structural solutions, and finishing techniques.

Profil recherché

Profile
* Prior experience working in a fashion atelier or couture environment
* Strong patternmaking and sewing skills
* Embroidery and beading skills are a significant advantage
* Fashion design education Bac+3/+5
* Reliable, precise, and passionate about craftsmanship
* Based in Paris and available full-time on weekdays (35-40h/week) 2-months (unpaid) Please attach your portfolio, with a focus on modelisme work (patternmaking, draping, garment construction).
