Intern Asset Manager Oversight

With your contribution, we will bring asset manager oversight to the next level and will ensure regulatory compliance by evaluating operational, data and valuation risks regarding (prospective) external asset managers.

You will be actively involved in the Mid Office department within NN Group Finance and will supervise third party real estate, private equity, private debt and infrastructure equity asset managers. This internship will give you great insights on investment processes, operational due diligence, valuations, and data governance. Next to this, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of different projects.

What you are going to do
* Asses valuation developments and data of private companies, real estate properties, infrastructure equity projects and private debt loans
* Monitor valuation and performance developments of the portfolio with the use of public and private market benchmarks
* Assess potential valuation risks in the private market portfolio
* Prepare and participate in challenging discussions with the external asset managers
* Active (project) involvement in valuation assessments, operational due diligence and private markets portfolio monitoring

Who you will work with
You will be part of the team Investment Oversight within the Mid Office department within NN Group Finance/ Investment Operations. The department, a diverse and international team of investment & finance professionals, includes three sub teams: (i) Pricing & Valuation, (ii) Investment Oversight and (iii) Business Implementation.
