The Global Sustainability Manufacturing Intern position is an exciting opportunity to learn and grow through hands-on exposure to how sustainability is implemented in real manufacturing environments. You'll develop new skills by collaborating with cross-functional teams, working with environmental performance data, and contributing to practical projects that drive measurable improvements-building a strong foundation in both operational problem-solving and sustainability impact.

In this role you will be supporting us with our external commitments on net zero GHG, waste and water and environmental compliance, you will:

* Work with the leads on our BU's to improve our sustainability performance

* Project management related to the above sustainability topics

* Analyses the data we collect from our sites worldwide on their environmental performance 

* Develop standards and training to help our sites execute with excellence

* Preparing decks for monthly performance reviews

You will be supporting the team on a variety of projects to move forward on our sustainability agenda, especially in carbon reduction, water stewardship and environmental compliance!

As Sustainability Manufacturing is a multidisciplinary function you also have opportunities to engage in interactions with other global leaders to mention some: Operational Excellence, Engineering, Maintenance, Logistics, Food Safety and Quality.

Key skills needed

* You are proactive, curious, and enthusiastic. You're not easily thrown off your game, not even when you get resistance.  

* Ability to learn and understand new topics in short time and connect lines between the different topics and activities.

* Ability to action multiple requests and priorities simultaneously. 

* You have excellent social skills, to interact with different partners, as you'll frequently be exposed to senior management. 

* You are able to develop relationships with various team members from different functions, background and cultures. 

* Influencing skills and international business/cultural sensitivity 

* Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills; a test on Excel will be part of the selection process

* You are willing to learn business tools (such as Intelex, Tableau/ PowerBI, Adobe etc.) and how those tools integrate into other functional work processes. 

* You have good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken. Any other language is an advantage.

Minimum requirements

* EU working rights are required 

* You are enrolled at a European university for the entire duration of the internship

* The internship needs to be a part of the university curriculum

* You are in your master's degree

* 6 month availability starting mid August 2026
