The intern supports the Senior Accountant with daily accounting activities and assists the company with general administrative coordination. The role ensures accurate financial records while helping manage operational accounts, contracts and supplier services. The position works closely with management and the finance team to coordinate documentation and administrative processes, including the recording of invoices and financial records.
Responsibilities
1. Accounting Support
● Assist the Senior Accountant with bookkeeping and accounting records
● Support preparation of invoices, payments and expense documentation
● Maintain organised accounting files and supporting documentation
● Assist with reconciliation of supplier and customer accounts
● Support preparation of documentation for accountants and auditors
2. Payment & Expense Administration
● Assist in collecting and organising employee expense documentation
● Prepare payment lists and supporting documentation for supplier payments
● Ensure invoices and supporting documents are correctly recorded and archived
3. Contracts & Service Accounts
● Maintain records and monitor company operational accounts and service agreements, including:
○ software subscriptions
○ telecom contracts (e.g. Vodafone)
○ logistics accounts (e.g. DHL)
○ leases and service providers
○ utilities and condominium charges
● Monitor renewal dates and ensure continuity of services.
4. Supplier & Administrative Coordination
● Maintain organised records of suppliers and service providers
● Coordinate documentation and communications with external providers
● Support administration of operational services and office-related accounts
5. Document & Record Management
● Maintain structured records of contracts, subscriptions and administrative documentation
● Ensure company documents are properly stored and accessible
● Support general administrative tasks required by the finance and operations team
Profilo
Qualifications & Skills
● 1 - 2 years' experience in accounting or administrative roles
● Basic accounting knowledge (bookkeeping, invoices, payments)
● Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
● Comfortable managing multiple operational tasks
● Good Excel and office software skills
● Discretion and confidentiality
● Fluent English, both written and spoken
