Your tasks

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Industrial Engineering Intern to join our dynamic team in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in applying industrial engineering principles to real-world manufacturing challenges.
* Collect and analyze data from the shop floor to identify areas for process improvement in regards of layout , material flow.
* Assist industrial engineers in developing and implementing lean manufacturing techniques to enhance 5S and Kaizen initiatives
* Collaborate with cross-functional CBT2,CBT3 teams to optimize production workflows and reduce waste
* Conduct time and motion studies to improve workplace ergonomics and productivity
* Prepare detailed reports and presentations on implemented improvements, project findings and recommendations
* Support the development and maintenance of key performance indicators (KPIs) for production processes
* Analyze and filter CIM proposal .
* Assist in the creation and updating of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for prioritized manufacturing processes Read more Read less

Your profile

* Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Industrial Engineering or a related field
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
* Understanding of industrial engineering principles, lean manufacturing concepts, and process improvement methodologies
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
* Willingness to work in a factory setting and conduct observations at various workstations
* Innovative mindset with a passion for optimizing processes and driving efficiency
* Medium to advanced English language proficiency, both written and verbal Read more Read less
