Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will provide support on master data management processes as directed (end-to-end operation of master data lifecycle including creation, update, and archival/deletion of the master data, by following the standards and quality requirements). You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.

The work model for the role is: on site

This role is contributing to the electrification division in México.

You will be mainly accountable for:
* Maintain and ensure accuracy of master data across relevant systems within the scope of responsibility.
* Document, review, and update procedures related to system maintenance and operational processes.
* Support quality and continuous improvement initiatives, promoting a first-time-right approach and addressing non-conformances.
* Collaborate with Supply Chain and cross-functional teams to support project deliverables and product implementation activities, including technical risk assessments.
* Provide operational plant support, including participation in initiatives related to warehouse, inventory, planning, scheduling, and purchasing strategy reviews (safety stock, forecast, consumption).

Qualifications for the role
* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field. No prior professional experience required; internship or academic project experience in engineering, warehouse, planning, or supply chain is a plus.
* Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas and data analysis; pivot tables desirable) and basic understanding of ERP systems; SAP (PP or MM) is a plus.
* Intermediate to advanced English, with the ability to read documentation and communicate with cross-functional or international teams.
* High attention to detail, commitment to accurate master data management, and a proactive, collaborative attitude with strong communication skills.
