We are seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our dynamic team as a Materials Management Summer Trainee. In this role, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of supply chain management and make a meaningful contribution to our operations. As a trainee, you will gain hands-on experience and valuable industry insights, allowing you to develop your skills and knowledge in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Location: Poland, Bydgoszcz

* Assist in managing and optimizing inventory levels, ensuring efficient stock management.
* Support the procurement process by researching and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand material requirements and provide accurate data for planning and forecasting.
* Implement and maintain effective inventory control systems, ensuring accurate record-keeping and data integrity.
* Monitor and analyze material flow, identifying bottlenecks and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency.
* Assist in developing and executing strategic sourcing plans, considering cost, quality, and sustainability factors.
* Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to identify potential suppliers and innovative solutions.
* Prepare and present reports on material management performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement

Requerimientos del candidato/a:

Must-Have:
* Active student status
* Good English, both spoken and written
* Willingness to work full-time during the summertime
* A strong interest in supply chain management and a passion for optimizing processes.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in using MS Office applications, especially Excel.
* Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-Have:
* Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and practices.
* Experience with data analysis and interpretation.
* Familiarity with procurement processes and supplier management.
* A proactive mindset and a willingness to learn and adapt
