ABOUT THE ROLE

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. as a Supply Chain Planning Intern at The Binding Site in Birmingham, UK! This role offers an outstanding opportunity to be part of our Planning team, focusing on both Manufacturing planning and Demand planning. RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an Intern, you will:
* Assist in the development and implementation of materials planning strategies to ensure flawless execution of supply chain operations.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine and fulfill material requirements for ongoing projects.
* Support the team in monitoring inventory levels and initiating actions to prevent shortages or excesses.
* Participate in the analysis of material usage trends and recommend improvements for efficiency.
* Help prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and support decision-making processes.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and systems within the materials planning function.

REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in this role, you should have:
* - Currently pursuing a degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to strictly analyze data and trends.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
* A proven ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
* Positive and proactive attitude with a keen willingness to learn and grow.

This is an intern role suitable for students finishing their 2nd year in 2026 to start the role Summer 2026.
