Job description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic intern to join our Asia Public Affairs team. The candidate will play a role in coordinating public affairs activities, conducting industry and geopolitical research and analysis, identifying key public affairs market trends and insights, and supporting cross-departmental projects. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in public affairs and contribute to the company's positioning as an industry leader in the semiconductor industry.

Key responsibilities:
*Engage in market research and industry benchmarking to understand the competitive landscape.
*Monitor and analyze news, legislative developments, and regulatory changes relevant to the company's interests.
*Support the Public Affairs team in creating presentations, reports and templates that provide meaningful data insights, ensuring timely and precise reporting.
*Help maintain and update the stakeholders mapping to facilitate effective engagement strategies.
*Prepare for engagements by assisting with research, content writing, drafting reports, presentations, and briefing documents for meetings with government officials and other key stakeholders.
* Implement a workflow process to efficiently track, monitor, and control expenditures.
*Aid in the planning and execution of events, meetings, workshops, and conferences.

Profile/Candidate's skills:
*Currently in the second/final year in or recently graduated with a degree in Public Affairs, Public Policy, Business, Economics, Political Science, International Relations, Market Research, or a related field
*Excellent research, analytical, and presentation skills
*Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
*Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
*Keen interest in public policy and semiconductor industry
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management
*Demonstrates a positive and collaborative mindset, is open to feedback, shows humility and a willingness to learn, and cares about doing work carefully and professionally
*Minimum of 3 months internship period
