About Global Payment The Global Payment team of Bytedance provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms including TikTok. Our Web and Client team in Global Payment is committed to building a highly integrated payment product that can be easily connected to the Web, App, cross-platform and other forms of Global Payment capabilities. In addition, we provide efficient and comprehensive services to developers, merchants and others through a series of platforms. We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2026. Internships at ByteDance aim to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience. Responsibilities - Develop and maintain efficient and reusable front-end code using React.js; - Build modular, reusable components and front-end libraries; - Collaborate with backend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic; - Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability; - Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs; - Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes; - Work closely with product design, product management, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality user experience

Requerimientos del candidato/a:

Minimum Qualifications: - Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline; - Proficient in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.js; - Familiar with state management libraries (e.g., Redux) and front-end tooling (e.g., Webpack, Babel); - Basic understanding of backend technologies, including Node.js, Express, and RESTful APIs; - Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git; - Agile, quick self-learner, highly self-motivated with a strong sense of product ownership; Preferred Qualifications: - Relevant internship experience with hands on exposure to the tech stack - Interested in payment industry By submitting an application for this role, you accept and agree to our global applicant privacy policy, which may be accessed here: https://jobs.bytedance.com/en/legal/privacy.
