Project Title

Procurement & Integration Planning for a SaaS Based Vulnerability Assessment Platform

Project Description

To enhance security maturity and operational efficiency, ITSS is planning to transition to a modern SaaS?based VA solution. The intern will contribute to the early and mid phase activities leading to the selection and integration of the new tool. These include:

* Mapping A*STAR's infrastructure and systems to define VA scope
* Analysing historical VA data to identify trends, coverage gaps, and priority areas
* Assisting in drafting evaluation matrices and technical requirements for procurement
* Preparing integration planning materials for eventual tool onboarding
* Supporting documentation, SOP development, and compliance alignment

This project offers meaningful exposure to cybersecurity operations, procurement governance, and enterprise scale technology planning.

Requirements

* Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts (e.g., vulnerabilities, CVEs, scanning tools)
* Analytical mindset and ability to work with technical datasets
* Proficiency in MS Excel / Power BI for reporting
* Strong written communication and documentation skills
* Interest in enterprise security tools and cloud services
