With the enormous growth of live streaming in recent years, our mission is to inspire real-time interactions and help live streamers connect to people from all corners of the globe. We are looking for passionate and talented engineers to join us to build and optimize a real-time, high-performance, large-scale distributed infrastructure for live streaming in TikTok. You will be deeply involved in the developmental lifecycle of critical product features and collaborate closely with product managers to deliver the best live streaming experience for all live streamers and audience alike. The Live Platform Intelligence team's mission is to use model-driven and data-driven ways to promote core indicators on LIVE revenue and creator engagement, which includes: Build models for automated and intelligent operations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of TT Live supply end, as well as discover and handle inappropriate user behavior and business anomaly, to assure the steady and persistent running of TT Live business. Spearheading analytical excellence with a penchant for creative problem-solving, our team functions at the intersection of data science and live content, ensuring an engaging and personalized experience for our global community of creators and viewers. We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2026. Internships at TikTok aim to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience. Successful candidates must be able to commit to either of the following Internships - From January to June (onboard by 12 Jan 2026) - From May to August (onboard by 11 May 2026) Responsibilities - Drive understanding of product usage and user behavior in the field of Live ecosystem. - Support strategic planning and execution for long term business plans through in-depth analysis. - Design and establish indicator systems for platform growth and risks, monitor and optimize coverage in each link, measure the performance of platform strategies and facilitate decision-making

Requerimientos del candidato/a:

Minimum Qualifications - Postgraduate who is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline. - Working level competency in one or more programming languages including SQL and Python are required.
