About The Team

Data Science team is part of the Data Science and Analytics team, and we are responsible for analyzing, processing and interpreting data using statistics to derive insights and communicate the recommendations to business stakeholders. Besides, the team is also responsible for developing and deploying Machine Learning models along with creating and maintaining the required infra structure for reducing model development and deployment turnaround time.

Internship Focus

Intern will be working with the Data Science team and will be assigned to a live project putting his/her skill set into practice. The selected candidate would be working across different projects ranging from Data Mining, building and deploying Machine Learning models.

Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate with business units to gather data and ensure its accuracy for analysis and insights generation.
* Conduct statistical analysis on collected data, identifying meaningful patterns and actionable insights.
* Utilize Python and SQL to efficiently clean, transform, and analyze large and intricate datasets.
* Build and manage machine learning models using both structured and unstructured data to address business challenges.
* Engage in close collaboration with cross-functional teams to comprehend business needs and devise data-driven solutions.
* Develop and maintain interactive dashboards that offer visual representations of machine learning model outputs, catering to business users' requirements

Experience

Education and Experience Requirements:

* Able to commit full-time for at least minimum of 12 weeks.
* Strong writing and content generation skills with excellent command of English.
* Experience with Python, SQL and cloud technologies (AWS) is ideal.
* Basic understanding of machine learning.
* Basic knowledge of data structures.
* Experience with BI tools like Tableau/Power BI/Qlik is ideal.
* Interested in Data Science, Machine Learning, Machine Learning Operations and Statistics.
* Highly motivated individual with strong curiosity to seek insights from data to tell a story to business partners/team members for decision-making.

Education

* Ideal candidate would be a Master or Bachelor with focus in Analytics/Computer science
