From the moment a seed is planted through to harvest, crops need to be protected from weeds, insects and diseases as well as droughts and floods, heat and cold. * Assists with various research tasks including sample collection, data entry, and sample preparation.
* Assists in performing chemical analysis and maintaining equipment.
* Engages in documenting results while learning about various aspects of agricultural research methodologies and protocols.
* Support in technical modern research techniques in specific areas of agriculture

Requerimientos del candidato/a:

* 3rd or 4th year university student in Crop Protection, Biotechnology, Agriculture or related field
* Available for a minimum of 4 days per week for a 3-month internship
* Ability to work in a team environment, work collaboratively, exhibit effective social and interpersonal skills.
* Manage time and effectively prioritize and implement projects and general work tasks per instruction from senior researchers
