[Internship] IT Tester Intern (Supply Chain domain)

Job Description

As an IT Tester Intern within our APAC logistics service hub team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital solutions. You will work alongside experienced developers and supply chain professionals to validate software applications and tools that support various aspects of our supply chain, such as inventory management, logistics, forecasting, and procurement. This internship provides hands-on experience in software quality assurance processes within a real-world enterprise environment.
Main responsibilities include:
* Analyze functional requirements and technical specifications to design comprehensive test plans and test cases.
* Execute manual and automated tests on new and existing software applications to ensure they meet business requirements.
* Identify, record, document, and track bugs/defects using issue-tracking systems; collaborate with developers to verify fixes.
* Perform data validation using SQL or scripting tools to ensure data integrity across integrated supply chain systems.
* Participate in regression testing to ensure new features do not negatively impact existing functionality.
* Collaborate with the development team and business analysts to clarify requirements and improve the user experience (UX).
* Learn about the supply chain domain to better understand user workflows and potential edge cases

Requerimientos del candidato/a:

Qualifications

Mandatory:
* 3rd-4th year university student and available to work full-time.
* Basic understanding of software testing methodologies (Unit, Integration, System, User Acceptance Testing).
* Proficiency in database querying (SQL) for data verification.
* Basic programming/scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript) for test automation support.
* Good logical thinking and extreme attention to detail.
* Good communication skills.
* Fluent in English.
Nice-to-haves:
* Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger).
* Familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Robot Framework).
* Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Redmine).
* Familiarity with PJ workflow (Agile/Scrum, UX, BA).
* Interest in Data Analytics or how Large Language Models (LLMs) function (to assist in testing analytics tools).
