Position and Missions: V.I.E - Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) | Canada As part of the Rest of the World FP&A team, you will contribute to financial planning, business performance analysis, and reporting activities in an international and industrial environment. Based in Canada, this position offers close collaboration with the CFO North America and exposure to the Group's global finance processes. It's a unique opportunity to combine analytical rigor, digital expertise, and strategic insight to support Nexans' profitable growth and transformation journey. Your Main Responsibilities Support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly closing processes across multiple entities. Develop and automate financial dashboards and reports (Power BI, Excel) to deliver clear insights. Ensure data consistency and reconciliation between HFM, ERP, and BI systems. Conduct in-depth financial and performance analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and drivers. Prepare management presentations and financial reports to support strategic decision-making. Collaborate with FP&A teams and the CFO North America on local and regional projects, including M&A analysis. Participate in digital transformation initiatives (automation, Power BI, AI) and process optimization. Contribute to internal control reviews and balance sheet assessments. Profil requis du candidat:
Desired Profile We are looking for a curious, analytical, and proactive individual eager to grow within a global industrial group and gain hands-on experience in FP&A and business intelligence. Your Profile Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration. A first professional experience (internship/apprenticeship) in FP&A, Controlling, or Financial Audit. Strong understanding of financial processes, budgeting, and forecasting. Proficiency in HFM (mandatory), Excel (advanced), and Power BI. Strong analytical mindset and ability to reconcile and interpret complex data. Excellent communication and presentation skills (PowerPoint). Ability to work in a multicultural and matrix environment. Knowledge of automation tools or AI applied to finance is a plus. Fluent in English (mandatory); French is an asset
