About the job

As a VIE R&I Digital Manager, you will support the digital transformation of Research & Innovation by turning R&I needs into concrete digital, data, and technology solutions. Acting as a digital product manager with strong technical understanding, you will drive delivery across key initiatives, ensuring that digital tools and platforms effectively support scientists and R&I teams.

1. Digital Product Management

* Understand user pain points and unmet needs across R&I teams.
* Explore relevant technologies and competitive benchmarks.
* Shape value propositions, prototypes, user experience, and manage the product backlog.
* Work in agile mode with development partners to deliver digital products.

2. Digital Solution Delivery

* Translate functional R&I requirements into clear technical specifications.
* Lead end-to-end delivery of digital solutions-from clarification to implementation and stabilization.
* Ensure all deliveries meet scope, quality standards, and timelines.

3. Technical Project & Milestone Management

* Oversee technical milestones, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
* Proactively resolve issues and escalate when needed.
* Track progress to ensure readiness and performance of solutions.

4. Data, Digital & Technology Execution

* Support deployment of digital tools, data platforms, and analytics solutions for R&I (research, development, evidence generation, quality, packaging, etc.).
* Collaborate with IT, Data, and Digital Health teams for secure and compliant delivery.
* Contribute to data quality, integration, and documentation.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

* Work daily with scientists, medical, quality, and operations teams to drive adoption.
* Support user testing, pilots, and deployment.
* Coordinate external vendors when relevant.

6. Continuous Improvement

* Contribute to best practices, standards, and reusable assets across R&I digital projects.
* Capture lessons learned to improve future deliveries.
* Stay up to date on emerging digital and data technologies relevant to R&I.

The criteria below remain indicative. A candidate who has a different combination of experience and skills could also be considered.
1. Relevant experience with proven expertise and track record on digital projects.
2. Degree in digital related major is preferred.
3. Confident and effective communicator with strong cross-functional leadership and relationship building skills. Able to effectively relay key technical information to the business to drive decision-making.
4. Flexible and able to navigate ambiguity.
5. Proficiency in written and spoken English, Mandarin is a plus.

V.I.E is a type of contract linked to Business France (French public organism) allowing Europeans to work internationally for a designated company. This is a 6 to 24 months contract.
