Your role
Do you like to apply advanced mathematics and programming skills to solve FinTech problems in the financial market? Are you an innovative thinker? We're looking for someone who can work closely with a team of model validators to:

* perform validation tests on derivative pricing models (FX, Rates, or Equity derivatives models) or algo trading models used in Investment bank
* develop automation testing scripts in Python or benchmark models in C++

Your team
You'll be working in the APAC team of the Model Risk Management and Control (MRMC) based in Shanghai. The main objective of the team is to work closely with other MRMC teams to validate the models used in investment bank.

Your expertise
You are:

-Will graduate from Dec.2024 to June 2025 and able to do onsite internship in Shanghai from Jul.2024 to Dec.2024.

- a bachelor or above student in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Physics, or Computing etc

- proficient in statistics/data science/stochastic calculus or C++/Python in developing numerical algorithms (If you have very strong C++ or Python programming background in other fields, you are welcomed to apply too)

- a good English writer and communicator (able to explain equations in plain English)

You are also:

- independent, pragmatic, concise and accurate, with strong attention to detail

- able to apply technical understanding to practical problems

- willing to collaborate and share knowledge with your team
