We are looking for a Junior Technical Sales Specialist, who will be trained as an Apprentice in Milan within the Electrification and Automation area.

Your Challenge
As Junior Technical Sales Specialist, you will have the opportunity to join a structured and high-paced environment to learn, grow and leave your sign. You will support the team in technical and commercial activities related to our product portoflio: standalone protection relays for power distribution and transmission applications and Power Quality instruments.
You will work side by side with our experts, that combine an extensive technical knowledge with a deep understanding of the PA PRO market dynamics.
The role is designed to progressively build technical, application and commercial skills, with the goal of becoming, over time, a reliable reference for PA PRO products for both customers and internal sales teams. Meanwhile, you will have the chance to build the growth of the PA PRO business, one of the key focus areas of our Business Unit.
Your main activities will be:
Technical & Commercial Support
* Support the Sales team in the preparation of technical solutions for protection relays, power quality and energy automation product
* Assist in collecting and understanding customer technical requirements
* Contribute to the selection of the most suitable product according to the application
* Collect feedback on the usage and applications of our Products, transfer it to your counterparts in our Headquarters in Germany and contribute to the development of new products
Pre-Sales & Offering
* Support product configuration using Siemens tools
* Assist in verifying the technical feasibility of proposed solutions
* Contribute to the preparation of technical documentation (basic configurations, user manuals, application notes)
Customer & Internal Support
* Support post-sales activities on basic technical topics
* Collaborate with Sales, Service and HQ teams to manage technical requests from customers: at increasing levels of responsibility, you will become reference for our customers during real-world usage of our products.
* Participate, together with senior colleagues, in technical meetings with customers when required
Market analysis and business development
* With your increasing technical and market know-how, you will play a big role in contributing to the development of new business models and customer partnerships to expand the adoption of our products and services at our existing and new customers.
Industry standardization
* As a lead player in the Worldwide Electrotechnical industry, Siemens takes part in several industrial standardization committees: you will have the opportunity to work closely with who is shaping the technical rules for connecting equipment and systems to Italy's electrical distribution networks.
Learning & Development
* Attend technical and commercial training programs focused on protection relays, in Italy and in our Headquarters in Germany.
* Build knowledge of power distribution systems, protection concepts and standards
* Develop technical communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset
Required entry qualifications:
* You are under 30 years of age, in accordance with the Italian apprenticeship contract
* This position is suitable for graduates or early-career candidates. Previous experience is not mandatory: what matters most is motivation, curiosity and willingness to learn.
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Automation, or equivalent technical background
* Interest in power distribution and protection systems
* Strong learning mindset and team-oriented attitude
* Team player ability, strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in Italian and English
* Passion to never-stop growing
* Respect and appreciation of each person's uniqueness, willingness to co create and share knowledge
* Eligibility to work in Italy
Nice to have:
* Basic knowledge of HV/MV networks or electrical protection concepts
* University projects, internships or thesis related to power systems or protection
* Familiarity with digital tools and MS Office

For apprenticeship contracts, the indicative gross annual salary range is between EUR28,475 and EUR35,700, depending on the candidate's educational background. The apprenticeship program includes defined salary steps: compensation increases progressively based on seniority and the acquisition of skills, in accordance with the provisions of the applicable National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL).
