ME Regional Office is offering two internship positions for Bachelor's and Master's degree graduates of reputable Universities in Jordan. Based on their interview results, interns will be assigned to the corresponding regional and country teams.

Duties and Accountabilities
As an intern, you will work closely with the Regional Operations Officer and/or the Jordan Country Office team on high-impact projects. Responsibilities include:
* Industry & Market Research: Conduct in-depth research and analysis to support IFC's business development efforts and strategic positioning in the Middle East.
* Pipeline Development: Assist in mapping investment and advisory opportunities across sectors, including financial, market, development impact, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) dimensions.
* Client & Partner Engagement: Contribute to the preparation of materials for meetings with senior-level clients, sponsors, and partners, ensuring alignment with IFC's 2030 strategy and reputational standards.
* Strategy & Reporting Support: Draft briefs, presentations, and reports for regional and corporate initiatives.
* Knowledge & Coordination: Support cross-cutting initiatives with IFC industry and advisory departments and contribute to knowledge sharing across the World Bank Group and with external development partners.

Selection Criteria
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, economics, business, accounting, or international relations.
* Strong analytical and research skills, including company financial statement analysis.
* Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic (written and verbal); additional languages a plus.
* Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; ability to present data clearly with graphics and tables.
* Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva) and ability to produce professional invitations and materials.
* Comfortable using AI productivity tools (e.g., Copilot).
* Proven ability to multitask, adapt quickly, and deliver under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Attention to detail, high ethical standards, and ability to work effectively in multicultural teams.
* Demonstrated interest in development finance and private sector growth.
