About this position
What you'll do
* Classification of finished products, semi-finished products and, where applicable, raw materials in accordance with dangerous goods regulations for all modes of transport globally (ADR / RID / IMDG / 49 CFR / TDG) across all business units of the Henkel Group
* Risk assessment for the transport of chemical goods (classification based on the actual substance and interpretation of regulations at material level) in accordance with international dangerous goods legislation (worldwide)
* Assessment of storage requirements in accordance with TRGS 510 (storage classes)
* Advising internal customers worldwide on all dangerous goods-related topics based on the risk assessment, including technical implementation in SAP
* Supporting the Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor in advisory, training and monitoring activities, particularly in chemical and technical matters
What makes you a good fit
* University entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife or Abitur)
* Completed vocational training as a chemical laboratory technician or chemical technician
* Certified training with examination (IHK) in national and international dangerous goods regulations; qualification in the classification of substances in accordance with transport regulations and GHS
* Strong affinity for digital data processing, particularly SAP
* Convincing communication skills and willingness for continuous professional development
* Fluent German and English skills
