Job Summary:
Under some supervision, follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch goods in a factory or warehouse. Receive incoming goods; check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices. Accurately sort, label, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space. Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders. Certified to operate forklifts or other warehouse machinery.
We are looking for a talented Shipper/Receiver to join our Distribution business in (Calgary, AB).
Will make an impact in the following ways:
* Receive incoming goods and check for damage or discrepancies
* Accurately sort, label, and store materials to optimize warehouse space
* Pick, pack, and ship orders based on customer requirements
* Perform system transactions and maintain inventory accuracy
* Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
* Follow Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies and maintain a clean work area
Great attitude
Ability to work alone and with a team
Ability to multitask and work in an extremely fast paced environment
Good written and verbal communication
Computer experience
Forklift experience is considered an asset
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
Requires certification to operate powered industrial vehicles (reach trucks, order pickers, pallet rider, etc.) and/or other heavy machinery.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

* Some experience in a warehouse or material handling role
* Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
* Ability to follow procedures and perform quality checks
* Basic computer skills for inventory/system transactions
