TRAINER SCANDINAVIA - FRAGRANCE & BEAUTY
Do you have experience in training and coaching within the luxury beauty industry? Do you have a passion for fragrance and beauty with a background in Makeup? If so, this might be the job for you!
We are currently seeking a Trainer to join our Learning & Development team, with a dedicated focus on Makeup Expertise across the Scandinavian region. Based in our Copenhagen office, you will play a key role in bringing the CHANEL vision to life through both in-person and digital learning experiences.
In this role, you will design and deliver engaging in class and online training sessions, while contributing to the planning and execution of local events, masterclasses, and presentations for a broad audience of multi-brand Beauty Advisors and CHANEL Employees. Your role will be essential in elevating expertise, driving engagement, and inspiring the local communities of our business partners and internal retail teams.
As a CHANEL Trainer, you will act as an ambassador of the House, bringing this vision to life by nurturing a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
WHAT IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE AT CHANEL
Training & development: Organize and deliver in class training sessions on makeup, skincare, and fragrance. Adapting content and developing new content based on the needs with a focus on customer experience and sales techniques for the wholesale and local retail community.
Makeup expertise: Focus on the makeup expertise development in the Benelux and Scandinavia region. Inspire and nurture expert communities in wholesale and owned retail. Keep track on trends and blend this with the Chanel holistic vision of beauty.
Brand representation: Serve as a role model for CHANEL's brand image, ensuring that every interaction reflects the brand's legacy of confident beauty and luxury, with a particular focus on bringing forward the creativity and timeless vision of CHANEL's holistic vision on makeup and beauty.
Program and content development: Adapt and create training in class and online content and techniques, which are in line with the customer experience of the brand. Co-create specific learning content for projects and events.
In-Store Coaching: Conduct in-store training and coaching in a dynamic, creative way, focusing on real-time makeup skills development, application demonstrations, and delivering impactful, personalized learning experiences.
Beauty Advisor engagement: Being involved, present and help organize big multi-brand events and tours across Scandinavia.
Trend monitoring & market awareness: Stay informed on makeup trends, industry innovations, client needs, and competitor activities. Use this knowledge to inspire the local teams and the learning team.
You will report to the Wholesale Learning Manager and collaborate closely with the Benelux and Scandinavian Learning team.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
* Experience in a similar role, with a demonstrated ability to inspire, coach, and build strong, lasting relationships with both clients and teams.
* Successful experience of at least 3 years in a similar position within the luxury beauty industry (e.g. Trainer, Makeup Artist, or Retail Management).
* Makeup Artist credentials and certificate, with the ability to deliver expert-level advice and confidently demonstrate advanced application techniques.
* A dynamic, energetic, empathic and engaging profile, with a strong sense of customer focus. You combine autonomy with an entrepreneurial mindset and a hands-on approach, supported by excellent organizational skills.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, with strong confidence in PowerPoint.
* Full-time commitment, with flexibility to adapt to business needs, including occasional evening work and travel (including occasional Sundays).
* Fluency in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
* Based in or around Copenhagen, with a willingness to travel frequently within Scandinavia and occasionally across Europe.
