Demand towards the Enterprise Service Management product team in Digital Solutions grows, and the team consisting of professional, passionate and skilled colleagues located in The Philippines and Denmark needs you. The team designs, develops and delivers enterprise service management solutions used by all Vestas 35.000+ employees. And the solutions cover numerous business domains and systems across the company enabling orchestration and work to flow efficiently via ServiceNow platform technology. The design of all solutions is centered around the needs of the people who will use the solutions and around Vestas' strategic objectives and priorities. This is an intriguing role where you will be taking lead to drive and improve the product within the areas of Technical leadership and ownership, and Solution design and delivery.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will act as the subject matter lead for Enterprise Service Management on the ServiceNow platform, owning the technical vision for ESM solutions and supporting platform strategy, and roadmap discussions through technical and architectural assessment.

Further, the main responsibilities will include

* Ensure adherence to Vestas and ServiceNow best practices, including platform health, security, performance, and upgrade readiness, and act as a technical counterpart in dialogue with ServiceNow and vendors, providing insights and recommendations where needed

* Act as the technical owner and challenging lead advisor in dialogue with ServiceNow and vendors, ensuring alignment between platform configuration, user roles, and contractual entitlements

* Ensure correct role assignment and role hygiene; review and validate subscription usage reports and consumption metrics; and support and steer periodic license and subscription reviews to optimize usage and reduce waste

* Taking the lead to advise the Product Owner and stakeholders on license impact of new solutions, customizations, integrations, and feature adoption, ensuring cost-aware technical decisions

* Act as a technical counterpart in renewal, audit, and compliance preparations, ensuring data accuracy, traceability, and defensible explanations of platform usage, and ensure changes do not unintentionally increase license consumption

* Collaborate with AMS vendors and internal teams to ensure support practices, automation, and monitoring solutions minimize unnecessary license and subscription consumption

* Translate business needs and stakeholder requirements into technical designs and user stories; guide design, development, configuration, testing, and deployment; conduct technical reviews; and configure and implement prioritized solutions on the platform

Qualifications

* Degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent

* Background from an implementation partner or consultant/developer in a large company with broad and deep experience within service management capabilities and solutions

* A minimum of (5) years of experience with service management enabled by ServiceNow platform

* Functional and technical solution architecture, project management experience, and agile ways of working such as scrum/kanban

* A deep understanding and experience of service management concepts and capabilities, Platform governance and service management solution lifecycle management

* Experience of several ServiceNow functional modules and cross functional concepts enabling business benefits and effective digital employee experiences

* Fluent in English, written and spoken

Additional information

Your work location will be Aarhus, Denmark, where other team members and stakeholders are located. You are expected to work in-office at least 3 days per week and should expect approximately 10-20 annual travel days in this role.
