Onionlab is a multidisciplinary studio specialized in the direction and production of audiovisual installations and exhibitions for the creative industries. Based in Barcelona, we work internationally on projects that combine technology, narrative and spatial design, including projection mapping, immersive installations, VR experiences and experimental digital content.
We are looking for a 3D Artist to join our in-house team in Barcelona. This is a full-time, on-site position with an immediate start. The role is intended for a mid-level profile with proven hands-on experience, comfortable working in production environments and collaborating with senior artists and creative leads.
The selected candidate will work on the creation and animation of 3D and motion graphics content for immersive installations and audiovisual environments. You will contribute to different stages of the production pipeline, focusing mainly on asset creation, animation and visual execution, following established creative and technical guidelines.
Main responsibilities:
-Contribute to the art and animation pipeline under creative direction
-Design and animate 3D assets using Cinema 4D
-Produce motion graphics and compositing using After Effects
-Adapt visual content for projection mapping and spatial installations
-Collaborate with the team to meet production deadlines
Requirements:
-Experience in 3D and motion graphics at a mid-level
-Solid understanding of animation fundamentals
-Good working knowledge of Cinema 4D
-Good working knowledge of Adobe After Effects
-Experience producing motion graphics for audiovisual or digital projects
-Ability to work with feedback and within defined production workflows
-Based in Barcelona and available to work on-site
Nice to have:
Experience with common After Effects plugins
Interest in immersive installations and spatial audiovisual projects
