Our Martos plant is one of the biggest sites within our Visibility Systems Business Group in charge of developing and manufacturing Lighting Products and Electronics, with around 2.600 employees. From the latest adaptive lighting technologies to intuitive interior lighting solutions to stylish and design-centric external lighting, Valeo constantly innovates to improve comfort and safety for drivers and passengers alike.

As a Tooling Engineer in Valeo Martos, you will be in charge of injection tooling (molds) development of new headlamp and rearlamp for top car makers in the world, working in a fast paced, international and multicultural environment.

Your mission will be for new car illumination project, to manage the technical development of mold built by moldmaker suppliers for our valeo production plants. You will be the person in charge of mold management in contact with customer, R&D, project, purchasing, quality, plants and supplier to reach product expectations following the most up- to- date techniques in a constantly evolving environment.

Your responsibilities:
* For mold manufacturing, support and guide the part design engineers/customer in defining the plastic components design
* Define Valeo generic requirement file and specifications of molds for moldmaker suppliers nomination
* Check the mold design made by mold suppliers: to launch the steel & machining order
* Check mold building & tuning conformity before transfer
* Check injection process set-up and tuning conformity before transfer
* Support valeo plant or injection suppliers to set-up, tune, and validate injection process and mold before serial production

Desired skills and experience:
* Experience in mold development or/and injection process
* Oriented results to reach development expectations
* Ability to work in a team spirit with other networks (R&D, purchasing, project, quality…)
* Ability to work in multicultural environment (europe, india, china…)
* Availability for trip (+/- 15% of time) in moldmaker plants and injection plants
* Interest in mold/injection process technologies and technology watch / innovation
* Passion for the automotive industry
* English level B2 is mandatory
