The Position

This role is based in the Global Procurement function, which supports Roche's goal of bringing innovative solutions to patients through business and supplier partnerships. We act as the bridge between Roche business functions and our suppliers, delivering value through productivity, speed, risk management, sustainability, innovative solutions, and streamlined buying experiences.
What is Analytics, Governance & Enablement?
Our team is focused on enabling a best-in-class procurement organization through co-creating, delivering, and owning such topics and data insights, procurement governance, performance, and capability building. Within the analytics area, we strive to connect and work across GP to unlock the power of data to drive insights and decision-making for procurement and our customers.

The Opportunity:
As an Analytics & Insights Manager Specialist, you will work in a dynamic global environment where you will meet the challenge to bring structured thinking, facilitation execution, focus to data, analytics, and insights. Using your specialized knowledge and in-depth expertise, you will proactively identify and drive opportunities to support customer needs and solve business problems.
You will work closely with procurement, finance, and other analytics solutions and projects colleagues, to bring innovative, analytics advisory or solutions to our internal customers.

Key responsibilities include:
* Act as a domain knowledge and subject matter expert in procurement data, providing input, advice, and know-how on data availability, analytics, visualization, and data analysis and usage approaches and best practices.
* Execute analytics projects and deliverables, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project objectives.
* Ensure all analytics outputs are accurate, reliable, and delivered in a user-friendly format.
* Develop, oversee, and improve analytics deliverables, and contribute to and support the improvement and creation of broader team projects, solutions, and platforms.
* Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, manage expectations, and communicate clearly.
* You advocate and influence for the advancement of AI adoption, data-driven decision making, insights generation, and the improvement of data quality, bringing solutions to meet and influence the perspective of others.
* Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Who you are:
You have an entrepreneurial spirit, enterprise thinking, inclusive collaboration, and desire for continuous learning that underpin our culture and ways of working.
* Master's degree in business management, data science/analytics, finance, or a related field and at least 2-3 years of progressive experience in analytics, data science, or a related field.
* Analytics visualization tools expertise (Tableau, PowerBI, Thoughtspot).
* SQL and ETL experience.
* You have the ability to explain difficult or higher complexity analytical solutions to others or collect/translate moderate complexity stakeholder requirements in situations requiring alignment and consensus.
* You are experienced in translating business problems into analytical solutions using data modeling techniques.
* You work with colleagues across teams, and the broader organization to broaden knowledge and expertise, better understand customer needs, and connect the dots.
* You demonstrate curiosity, active listening, and a willingness to experiment and test new ideas when appropriate, focusing on continuous learning and improvement.
* You are open-minded and inclusive, generously sharing ideas and knowledge while being receptive to ideas and feedback from others.
* Business level fluency in English (German may be beneficial).

Preferred:
* Exceptionally qualified applicants with relevant experience but without a Master's degree are also encouraged to apply.
* You have a deep understanding of core procurement activities and have practical experience with processes, data, and systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa), especially those related to data and advanced analytics.
* You have an understanding of data management and systems (e.g. Snowflake).
* You have an understanding of data governance and compliance considerations.
* You have an understanding of GenAI models and how to leverage them.
