Test Engineer (Entry-Level)

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) seeks a Test Engineer (Entry-Level) to join our team in Heath, OH (35 minutes East of Columbus, Ohio) that produces hardware for the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy Guidance, and other military programs.

Position Responsibilities:
* Participate in gathering and analyzing requirements for test measurement systems.
* Assist in the development of test procedures, and instrumentation and configuration definition to perform the test within the constraints of the test plan.
* Develop solutions to calibration systems problems.
* Perform data analysis, develop and utilize data processing tools.
* Design simple component level hardware or software.
* Use analytical tools to verify design.
* Verify collection of complete data sets.
* Maintain test logs, prepare simple test report and archive data.
This position is expected to be worked fully onsite in Heath, OH.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
* Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
* Related engineering experience through internships, co-ops, or academic projects.
* If not already within commuting distance to Heath, OH, willingness and ability to relocate at your own expense.
* Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
* Knowledge of military hardware.
* Experience starting production lines.
* Understanding of nonconformance processes.
* Experience with vibration and thermal stress test setups.
* Schematic experience.
* Production support experience.
* Experience troubleshooting analog and digital electronic devices.
* Production support experience.

Summary Pay Range is $71,400 to $96,600.
