The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities discipline seeks talented Systems Engineers. Our team, located in Tewksbury, MA, Andover, MA & Woburn, MA, integrates hardware and software, develops test plans and procedures, debugs and evaluates system functions and interfaces, and verifies system requirements in support of final sell-off to the customer. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. Every day is a different set of challenges to overcome. You'll be expected to collaborate across disciplines and partner to implement solutions. In this role, you'll get to know a little bit about every aspect of the system and have a direct hand in making it all work together supporting teams of engineers engaged in integration and test efforts. You will support elements of program development, engineering testing, integration, flight-testing, production, system deployment, and/or post deployment support across the product lifecycle.

This position is an onsite role in Tewksbury, MA, Andover, MA, Pelham, MA or Marlborough, MA. Test event support activity may require travel which is not expected to exceed 20%.

What You Will Do:
Inn this Systems Engineer role, you will support the following types of activities:
* Core Systems Engineering: Develop requirements and algorithms, concepts of operations, and define system interfaces.
* Lead Testing Efforts: Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments.
* Troubleshoot and Analyze: Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.
* Drive Performance: Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues.
* Modeling and Simulation: Develop and execute models to predict system performance and support verification and validation.
* Integrate Systems: Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact.
* Collaborate and Lead: Work with and lead a multi-disciplinary team to achieve seamless integration and system functionality.
* Document and Communicate: Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
* Perform Data Analysis: Conduct statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data to ensure optimal system performance and verify requirements.
Present Findings: Present technical findings and solutions to leadership and customers.
* Support Missions: Travel as needed (up to 20%) to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations.

What You Will Learn:
* After completion of comprehensive on-the-job training, the candidate will be a part of a team supporting Systems Engineering, Systems Integration & Test activities across the product development lifecycle.
Qualifications You Must Have:
* Master's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) obtained prior to start
* Experience with troubleshooting technical issues in an academic or internship setting, including the use of common commercial test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc.)
Qualifications We Prefer:
* Experience with DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, or other digital engineering tools.
* Experience with model-based engineering.
* Experience with systems software, systems hardware, systems requirements, systems integration, and/or systems test.
* Experience in developing and managing requirements.
* Experience developing both scripts and functions with MATLAB.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
