YOUR ROLE

Are you willing to quickly expand your Finance knowledge in a dynamic and international financial controlling team and within a fast growing & client-orientated company?

If so, you might be the Junior Controller that Edenred Finland is looking for. This role is a fixed-term role as a parental leave substitute until autumn 2027. We will fill the position as soon as the right candidate is found - so apply early!

Responsibilities

You will be part of a dynamic and international financial team, dealing with all possible financial topics occuring in a company (accounting, treasury, planning & budget, business control, internal control, etc.). Communication with both internal and external customers as well as ad-hoc analysis will allow you to be involved in day-to-day business operations. You will also actively use CRM and Accounting system which are commonly used applications in Finance.

Your main areas of focus will be:

* Treasury: cash-in / cash-out follow-up, forecast of international cash movements (Group cash pooling).

* Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet.

* Month-end reconciliations between accounting system (Navision) and Middle-Office application.

* Active role in monthly closing & year-end external audit

* Internal control: accesses management, flows reconciliation, and more.

* Projects: liaise with different departments to implement new solutions or products.

* Additionally, you could be involved in any ad-hoc analysis needed by the Finance team, or the Chief Financial Officer related to financial reporting, cost analysis & budget.

YOUR PROFILE

Preferably, you have worked 2 to 3 years in a similar function, such as junior controller or with experience in external audit and are willing to join an international organization. You have studied Accounting, Finance or Economics in a Business School or University.

You will excel in this role if you are/have:

* Excellent analytical skills and reliability

* Strong attention to accuracy and detail

* Willing to learn and help, to be flexible, energetic and proactive team player

* Very strong proficiency on Excel, experience with Business Intelligence software seen beneficial

* Autonomous way of working, with high standard of quality

* As Edenred is a truly international company, fluent language skills in both, Finnish and English, are a requirement for this role

This is a fixed-term and full-time position as a parental leave substitute until autumn 2027. Details regarding compensation will be discussed during the interview process. You will get an onboarding both to your own role and overall to our company's business. You will see closely how a local business unit operates as part of global corporation. In our daily life we use both Finnish and English, and in this role especially it is important to have fluent skills in both languages.
