About the role
On the New Verticals team, you'll be responsible for the growth of our Emerging grocery accounts, by defining and executing the strategy of the highest potential scope of the New Verticals business in France. You'll manage an Account Management team (AMs and KAMs) for the Emerging key partners, and will also have a strong dotted line to our Sales team working on the scope.
The Emerging scope includes all Red Carpet grocery accounts that are not live or scaled yet (75% of the offline retail market), mostly with a decentralized/independant stores model and therefore more complex to deploy than our existing Mature scope (Carrefour, Casino).
Responsibilities
* Define the selection strategy of the unscaled key grocery accounts in France
* Build relationship with key partners on all steps of their lifecycle (from prospecting to negotiating to closing to being live)
* Lead complex partnership management and key deals negotiations and renegotiations
* Define priorities for the KAM & Sales teams
* Conceive, design and lead innovative growth initiatives with our existing partners and drive through to completion, working cross functionally with (COMPANY NAME)'s internal teams and our partners
* Define the Emerging team structure, manage/coach/develop team members
What you'll need
* 5 year(s) experience in Startup, Strategy Consulting, Operations Management or other relevant experience
* Expertise and/or appetite for Commercial / Sales / Partner-facing as most key retailers are not live yet and requires prospection and negotiations
* Strong business judgement and ability to think analytically
* Strong project management and stakeholder management skill sets and experience
* Excellent communication skills, both in written and oral formats, for both internal and external audiences
* Process orientation to drive scalable solutions
* Fluent/Native in French
