Your Role

Position Overview:
We are seeking Product Development Scientist to contribute to the development of palatability enhancers and dry pet food solutions for cats and dogs.
Part of the global R&D Team, you will manage projects from ideation to industrialization and launch, working in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Project Management:
* Ideation & Initiation:
* Participate in creating value propositions driven by sales & marketing.
* Conduct project risk analysis and assess necessary resources and timing.
* Conception to Testing:
* Monitor project timelines and expenses.
* Conduct experiments, analyze and synthetisize results.
* Update risk assessments and propose new directions if necessary.
* Industrialization & Launch:
* Support the deployment of new palatability-enhanced dry solutions in regional markets.
* Assist with commercial argumentation and sales team for product launches.
Market Insight & Communication:

* Market insights: Follow trends & technical innovations, gather information and share with internal teams.
* Internal Communication: Report progress to stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and management teams.
* Scientific & Technical Networking: Build and maintain a network of technical and scientific experts in palatability enhancers, actively participating in relevant congresses and presenting findings.
About You

Profile:

*
* Diploma in food science, agro engineering or similar field
* Interest in pet food will be a strong advantage
* "Hands-on" mentality (raw material manipulation during prototype phases)
* Open minded, able to navigate in a matrix & multicultural environment
* Strong presentation & communication skills
* Fluent English & French mandatory
