Responsibilities

The Opportunity

The DevSecOps Lead is accountable for the end to end delivery and quality of the local and legacy digital product portfolio for CariCam. This role leads and governs development activities across internal teams and external vendors, ensuring that solutions are secure, scalable, compliant, and production ready, while meeting business timelines, budget commitments, and SAFe delivery standards.
The role acts as a technical and delivery authority, providing oversight, feedback, and coaching across solution design, development, testing, training, and deployment to production, while ensuring full adherence to PepsiCo IT methodologies, security standards, and architectural guidelines.

Your Impact

* Lead the development and sustain portfolio for local and legacy digital products, ensuring business continuity and value realization
* Govern delivery execution under the SAFe Agile methodology, ensuring alignment to PI planning, sprint execution, and release management
* Ensure delivery commitments on scope, quality, timeline, and budget, proactively identifying and mitigating risks
* Review and approve solution architecture, technical design, and implementation approaches for local digital products.
* Provide hands on oversight of code quality, testing strategies, release readiness, and production stability.
* Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, DevSecOps standards, and secure SDLC practices.
* Enforce security by design and DevSecOps principles across the full software lifecycle.
* Ensure adherence to PepsiCo security policies, audit requirements, and vulnerability management standards
* Partner with Security, Architecture, and Platform teams to remediate risks and technical debt in legacy solutions.
* Lead and govern external development vendors and system integrators, ensuring contractual, quality, and delivery expectations are met.
* Provide structured feedback, technical guidance, and performance oversight to development partners.
* Act as a key technology partner to business stakeholders, translating business needs into robust technical outcomes.
* Oversee training, change readiness, and cutover activities to ensure smooth transition to production and sustain teams.
* Ensure operational documentation, support models, and SLAs are in place prior to go live.
* Drive continuous improvement in operational stability, resilience, and cost efficiency of legacy platforms.
* Design Value Delivery and Product Roadmap for OUs local/legacy solutions including roadmap definition, incremental value objectives and realization milestones
* Partner with IT Leads and IT functions to build and generate solution proposals and resource estimates in order to deliver incremental value to the business
* Consistent and ongoing engagement with business and SnT capabilities teams to support the appropriate development of stories, discuss implementation tradeoffs and prioritize backlog to ensure acceptance criteria
* Ongoing communication and coordination with stakeholders around incremental value delivery, supporting feedback loops and roadmap iteration
* Find efficiencies and optimize investment by finding creative ways to deliver on identified value sooner than projected and partnering to bundle individual investments into efficient products and programs to optimize spend and reduce investment overhead
* Drive Risk, Issue and Change management agenda for developing projects
Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

* Strong experience (5+ years) leading software development and implementation projects, including legacy and locally built solutions
* Deep understanding of DevSecOps practices, CI/CD concepts, secure SDLC, and release governance
* Hands on experience reviewing architecture, code quality, testing strategies, and production readiness
* Strong management skills with the ability to develop teams and cultivate talent
* Experience in CPG industry required with strong commercial and operations process knowledge
* Proven experience working under SAFe / Agile delivery models
