Responsibilities:
* Execute manual testing activities on complex industrial software systems
* Refactor existing test cases and test code to improve maintainability and stability
* Design, implement, and execute automated test scenarios
* Write, maintain, and extend automated test cases using an internally developed test automation tool
* Evaluate and analyze test results, identify root causes of failures
* Report software defects in a clear, structured, and reproducible manner
* Collaborate closely with developers and other stakeholders during defect resolution
* Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and quality assurance practices
* Represent quality assurance aspects within the project team
Requirements:
* Ability to understand, analyze, and test complex and hard-to-understand systems
* Intermediate level of English (English is the official project language)
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
* Strong motivation for continuous learning and professional development
* Reliable, responsible attitude with a high level of precision and attention to detail
* Genuine interest in software quality assurance
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Sense of ownership and responsibility for assigned tasks and results
Advantages:
* ISTQB CTFL or higher-level certification
* Experience with test automation tools or frameworks
* Knowledge of Siemens industrial automation software (e.g. TIA Portal)
* Hardware-related knowledge (industrial hardware, PLCs, drives, etc.)
* Experience with Sinamics systems
* Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
* German language skills
* Previous experience in a laboratory responsible or similar role
