Overview As a Financial controller, you will be an active and integral part of our finance team, receiving guidance and mentorship while taking on a variety of responsibilities: Assist and support the day-to-day accounting operations and financial management of the group. Play an active role in monthly and annual financial closing processes. Prepare and assist with routine reporting to our publicly traded parent company abroad, strictly adhering to IFRS standards - gaining significant exposure to global finance. Support in budget preparation, monitoring actual performance against budget, and conducting variance analysis. Identify opportunities and assist in implementing new and more efficient accounting processes and workflows within the department. Conduct in-depth analytical reviews of company performance, including client profitability analysis, to support strategic business decisions. Provide professional and service-oriented support to employees, managers, and internal/external clients. Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) collection processes and ensure timely Accounts Payable (AP) payments to suppliers. Qualifications What We're Looking For (Qualifications): Education: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification - A must. Experience: 1-2 years of post-qualification experience either from a leading accounting firm (post-internship) OR as an Assistant Accountant/Junior Accountant in a business organization - A must. Technical Skills: Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel - A must. Languages: High proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) - A must (for communication with our international parent company). Significant Advantage: Previous experience with reporting to publicly traded foreign parent companies and/or in-depth knowledge of IFRS standards. Significant Advantage: Big4 alumni. Personal Attributes: Strong analytical abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, service-oriented mindset, high level of responsibility, proactivity, and a strong desire to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment.
