Team / division overview

This permanent position supports DWS's Alternatives platform in the effective execution of AML/KYC controls. The role reports to the Senior Team Manager Client Due Diligence Transactional and contributes to ensuring a transparent and well-controlled investment process across Alternative and Illiquid strategies:

Your responsibilities:

As our KYC Analyst, you will:

* Perform AML/KYC due diligence on transactions across the Alternatives and Illiquid Investment platform (Real Estate, Infrastructure, Direct Lending, Private Equity).
* Contribute to the improvement of due-diligence processes, documentation practices and supporting systems, ensuring clarity and traceability of new and ongoing transactions.
* Assist in the implementation of regulatory changes and participate in cross-functional project activities.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders, business partners and second-line control functions, ensuring clear and timely communication of relevant issues.

We are looking for:

* Experience in AML/KYC, Compliance or Financial Crime functions within financial services; prior exposure to Asset Management or Alternatives is preferred.
* Good understanding of investment transaction processes; knowledge of Alternative or Illiquid investments is an advantage.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; German language proficiency is considered an advantage.
* Ability to work independently and reliably, with a structured approach to prioritizing tasks.
* Team-oriented mindset and willingness to collaborate across different departments.
