MAIN MISSION

EdRAM (Luxembourg) is a UCITS and AIFM Management Company. You will be part of the Risk Management Function, with a dual responsibility:
* providing risk management expertise for a wide range of investment funds, especially UCITS and alternative (liquid and illiquid) funds;
* acting as Investment Fund Compliance officer, ensuring that the funds comply with applicable investment rules and regulatory requirements.
You will play a key role in safeguarding investors' interests and supporting the ManCo's governance, in close collaboration with portfolio managers, the Board of Directors of the funds and Conducting Officers.

ACTIVITIES

Risk Management (UCITS & AIFs) :
* Define and regularly review the risk profiles of investment funds in line with their investment strategies and investor base;
* Identify, measure and monitor the risks borne by the funds in scope (i.e. market risk, credit risk, counterparty risk, liquidity risk, concentration risk, valuation risk, operational risk, sustainability risk) ;
* Perform follow-up on risk appetite overruns with portfolio managers and ensure appropriate remediation and documentation ;
* Ensure ongoing follow-up of the portfolios investments, including the monitoring of complex instruments and derivatives ;
* Participate actively in different internal committees (e.g. Risk Committee) and Funds' Board of Directors/General Partners'' meetings ;
* Produce periodic risk reports for the attention of the Conducting Officer in charge of the activity, the Executive Committee, the Funds' Board of Directors/General Partners, CSSF and other stakeholders;
* Contribute to keeping Risk Management Policies, procedures and methodologies up to date and analyze the impact of changes in the regulatory framework (ESMA, CSSF Guidelines, UCITS, AIFMD, SFDR, etc) ;
* Participate actively in various business or regulatory projects (new fund launches, restructurings, onboarding of new strategies or asset classes, enhancement of risk tools, etc).

Investment Fund Compliance :
* Ensure ongoing monitoring of investment restrictions and eligibility rules for UCITS and AIFs, in accordance with prospectuses, internal investment guidelines and applicable regulations;
* Analyze and follow up on investment breaches and other incidents (including risk limit breaches, sustainability-related incidents), coordinate remediation actions and ensure proper escalation and documentation;
* Contribute to the review and update of fund documentation (prospectuses, KIIDs/KIDs, policies and procedures) from a Risk & Investment Compliance perspective;
* Support the preparation of regulatory reports and communications to the CSSF and other authorities relating to the fund's risk and compliance framework;
* Provide advice and guidance to portfolio managers and other stakeholders on regulatory requirements applicable to the funds (UCITS, AIFMD, CSSF circulars and regulations, ESMA guidelines, SFDR, etc);
* Contribute to training and awareness initiatives on risk and fund compliance topics within the ManCo.

PROFIL

* University/ Master degree in Economics, Finance, Risk Management or Science ;
* At least 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar function or in an audit/consulting company ;
* Strong knowledge of finance and the investment funds industry, with solid understanding of UCITS and AIFMD regulatory frameworks and Luxembourg fund regulations;
* Practical experience in risk monitoring (limits, VaR/other risk measures, stress testing, liquidity and concentration metrics) and/or fund investment compliance monitoring;
* Perfectly fluent in English and French (spoken and written), knowledge of any other language, such as Spanish or Italian, would be considered as an asset ;
* Proficient with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, VBA would be considered to be an advantage) and Bloomberg ;
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with senior management, Boards and regulators.
