About the role
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Demand Planner to join our Supply Chain team. This role is responsible for building and maintaining demand forecasts, generating insights, and supporting decision-making within the S&OP process.
You will collaborate closely with regional Demand Partners and cross-functional teams to ensure forecast accuracy, data integrity, and continuous improvement in demand planning.
Key responsibilities
* Build and maintain the demand baseline across multiple aggregation levels, aligned with the S&OP calendar.
* Analyze forecast vs. sales performance (M-1 / M-2) and demand KPIs to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
* Select and adjust statistical forecasting models, including manual overrides where required.
* Maintain and update master data (CVC, product alignments) and ensure overall data integrity.
* Cleanse sales history (incl. NPI, LTOs, and product realignments) and manage actuals updates.
* Perform APO corrections, data uploads, and system maintenance activities.
* Generate and communicate insights, highlighting risks and opportunities for Demand Partners and Commercial teams.
* Prepare data and materials for S&OP forums (Demand Review, Supply Review, Executive Review).
* Update and align forecasts across systems (APO, satellite systems) and ensure consistency.
* Release the forecast to SNP on a monthly and ad-hoc basis.
* Support portfolio optimization initiatives, including SKU rationalization and NPI/LTO performance analysis.
* Manage delisting processes, including evaluation, validation, and communication of changesDrive continuous improvement through root-cause analysis and feedback loops.
Qualifications and skills
* Strong experience in Demand Planning / Forecasting / S&OP processes.
* Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
* Experience with SAP APO/SNP, ECC, EPM, and advanced Excel.
* Solid understanding of data management and master data governance.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into insights.
* Experience working in cross-functional and multicultural environments.
* Continuous improvement mindset and proactive approach to problem-solvingA.
