But could you be the one ensuring every celebration, meeting, and event leaves a lasting impression? We're searching for a Banquet Manager to lead our banquet operations and deliver outstanding service experiences across conferences, weddings, social events, and corporate functions at Crowne Plaza Kathmandu Pulchowk.

A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:
● Managing the daily banquet operations to ensure smooth and efficient execution of meetings, conferences, weddings, and special events
● Supervising and motivating banquet colleagues to deliver exceptional service standards and memorable guest experiences
● Coordinating closely with Culinary, Stewarding, Sales, and Front Office teams to ensure seamless planning and operational execution of events
● Meeting with clients and event organizers to understand requirements, manage expectations, and ensure successful event delivery
● Monitoring banquet setup, service flow, staffing, and presentation standards to maintain operational excellence
● Assisting with scheduling, inventory management, budgeting, and cost control initiatives to support departmental performance
● Handling guest feedback, operational challenges, and service recovery situations professionally and promptly
● Ensuring compliance with hygiene, safety, responsible alcohol service, and workplace standards as required by local regulations
What We need from you:
● Diploma or higher education qualification in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Food & Beverage Management, or related field preferred
● Minimum 5-7 years of Food & Beverage or Banquet operations experience within a hotel environment, including managerial or supervisory experience preferred
● Strong knowledge of banquet operations, event planning, and service standards
● Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and guest service skills
● Ability to manage multiple events and operational priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment
● Familiarity with banquet event orders (BEOs), hotel systems, and operational reporting preferred
● Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards as required by local regulations
