Jouw rol als Purchasing Specialist
Als Purchasing Specialist ben je verantwoordelijk voor het beheren, controleren en optimaliseren van verbruiksartikelen en verpakkingsmaterialen binnen het distributiecentrum.
Je speelt een sleutelrol in het beheren van leveranciersrelaties, het controleren van kosten en het waarborgen van continuïteit in de operatie. Je werkt nauw samen met Procurement, Finance, Operations en Sustainability om te zorgen dat materialen voldoen aan de behoeften van de business en tegelijkertijd voldoen aan eisen op het gebied van kosten, compliance en duurzaamheid.
Je werk heeft directe impact op operationele efficiëntie, leveranciersprestaties en duurzaamheidsresultaten.

Wat ga je doen?
Procurement & voorraadbeheer
* Beheren van de inkoop en controle van consumables en verpakkingsmaterialen
* Uitvoeren van de volledige procurementcyclus in samenwerking met EMEA Procurement
* Aanmaken en beheren van Purchase Orders (PO's), call-offs en raamovereenkomsten (COUPA)
* Opstellen van forecasts, monitoren van verbruik en waarborgen van beschikbaarheid
* Beheren van voorraadniveaus, reorder points en safety stock
* Zorgen voor correcte orders (prijzen, volumes, voorwaarden)
* Ondersteunen van agency PO's en factuurcontrole

Leveranciersmanagement
* Eerste aanspreekpunt voor dagelijkse communicatie met leveranciers
* Oplossen van leveringsproblemen, kwaliteitsissues en afwijkingen
* Escaleren van risico's (veiligheid, compliance, service)
* Ondersteunen bij onboarding van nieuwe leveranciers
* Input leveren voor leveranciersreviews (QBR/MBR)
* Monitoren van leveranciersprestaties en onderhouden van correcte data

Reporting & finance
* Opstellen van rapportages over spend, verbruik, PO-status en goods receipt
* Ondersteunen van Finance bij factuurverschillen en period closing
* Waarborgen van correcte data in COUPA en systemen

Compliance & safety
* Naleven van bedrijfsrichtlijnen, procurement policies en wettelijke eisen
* Werken met goedgekeurde leveranciers en vermijden van maverick buying
* Waarborgen van contract- en SLA-compliance
* Documentatie bijhouden voor audits en controles

Continuous improvement
* Signaleren van besparings- en verbeterkansen
* Up-to-date houden van SOP's en werkinstructies
* Samenwerken met Operations, Planning, Finance en Procurement

Sustainability
* Verzamelen en rapporteren van data rond verpakking en afval
* Ondersteunen van audits en duurzaamheidsinitiatieven

Samenwerking
* Nauw samenwerken met Planning en Head of Shared Services
* Afstemmen met diverse stakeholders
* Escaleren van operationele issues rond consumables
* Beheren van dagelijkse communicatie en e-mailflows

Wat vragen wij jou?

* Ervaring in procurement, supply chain, accounting of budgeting
* Ervaring met systemen zoals COUPA is een plus
* Sterke communicatieve en stakeholdermanagement skills
* Onderhandelingsvaardigheden
* Analytisch vermogen
* Goede kennis van Microsoft Office
* Goede beheersing van de Engelse taal (minimaal B1/B2)

Your Role as Purchasing Specialist
As a Purchasing Specialist, you are responsible for managing, controlling, and optimizing consumables and packaging materials within the distribution center.
You play a key role in managing supplier relationships, controlling costs, and ensuring operational continuity. Working closely with Procurement, Finance, Operations, and Sustainability, you ensure that materials meet business needs while aligning with cost, compliance, and sustainability requirements.
Your role has a direct impact on operational efficiency, supplier performance, and sustainability outcomes.

What Will You Do?
Procurement & Inventory Management
* Manage purchasing and control of consumables and packaging materials
* Run the end-to-end procurement cycle in collaboration with EMEA Procurement
* Create and manage purchase orders (POs), call-offs, and framework orders (COUPA)
* Forecast demand, monitor usage, and ensure availability
* Maintain stock levels, reorder points, and safety stock
* Ensure order accuracy (pricing, quantities, terms)
* Support agency PO management and invoice control

Supplier Management
* Act as main point of contact for day-to-day supplier communication
* Resolve delivery issues, quality concerns, and discrepancies
* Escalate risks related to safety, compliance, or service performance
* Support onboarding of new suppliers
* Provide input for supplier performance reviews (QBR/MBR)
* Maintain accurate supplier and pricing data

Reporting & Finance
* Produce reports on spend, consumption, PO status, and goods receipt
* Support Finance with invoice discrepancies and period closing
* Ensure accuracy of data in COUPA and operational systems

Compliance & Safety
* Ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements
* Work with approved suppliers only and avoid off-contract purchasing
* Ensure compliance with contracts, SLAs, and sustainability commitments
* Maintain documentation for audits
Continuous Improvement
* Identify cost-saving and process improvement opportunities
* Maintain SOPs and work instructions
* Collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders

Sustainability
* Collect and report packaging and waste data
* Support sustainability initiatives and audits

What Do We Ask From You?
* Experience in procurement, supply chain, accounting, or budgeting
* COUPA experience is a plus
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Negotiation skills
* Analytical mindset
* Microsoft Office proficiency
* Good command of English (B1/B2 minimum)
