About this role
Join the Performance Marketing team, specifically Growth Solutions. We're a small, agile team with a big impact; we build custom, internal solutions that aim to automate as much of our Ad Strategy as possible and make the Marketing Specialists' life easier so that they can focus on the important stuff. Automation is at the heart of everything we do; whether that's building Google Ads Campaigns, improving data integrity, tracking conversions. Automation takes away human error and allows marketing to be as agile and performant as possible.
* Please note that this position is located in Amsterdam (3 days a week from our Amsterdam office and 2 days working from home)
These are some of the key components to the position:
* Participate in Code Reviews
* Debug/Troubleshoot bugs independently
* Writing and maintaining code (JAVA)
* Independently picking up tickets off the backlog that have been written/approved by a senior
* Maintain documentation of new and existing services
What will you bring to the team?
* A core understanding of Strongly Typed Object Oriented Programming (Java, etc). Familiarity with our core tech stack is a bonus; Java, JavaScript (Next.js), and Google Cloud Platform.
* The ability to think outside the box and turn complex challenges into elegant solutions.
* Knowledge of digital marketing, SEA, or SEO is a plus due to the nature of our work, but a desire to learn is what we value most.
* Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
* Understanding of modern front end architecture principles and design practices: micro frontend architecture, SSR, SPA, responsive design, progressive enhancement, graceful degradation
