Join our team and play a key role in strengthening and continuously improving our Quality Management System (QMS) in a highly regulated environment.

About the Role
As a Jr. Quality Engineer you will support and enhance the AVN Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with internal standards, global regulations, and industry best practices. You will act as a trusted advisor to the organization, providing guidance, mentorship, and expertise on quality-related processes while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Location: Heerlen, The Netherlands. This is an onsite positon that requires your present in the office a minimum of 4 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage nonconformities and lead change management activities
* Support process owners and Quality Engineers in implementing QMS requirements
* Provide expert QA guidance across the organization
* Act as delegate for one or more QMS processes
* Support and participate in internal and external audits
* Analyze quality data to identify trends and drive improvements
* Execute and support qualification activities and resolve process-related issues
* Contribute to quality improvement and integration projects
* Utilize analysis tools and quality techniques to support decision-making
* Identify opportunities for process and system improvements and drive implementation
* Support stop-ship and recall activities when required

Who We're Looking For
* Bachelor's degree (or equivalent, HBO level)
* 1-3 years of experience in a highly regulated environment (preferably within medical technology or logistics operations)
* Strong collaboration and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
* A proactive team player with a continuous improvement mindset
* Fluency in English, written and spoken, Dutch is nice to have, but not mandatory.
