Assistant Housekeeping Manager

Hyatt Place Amsterdam Airport is looking for an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to support daily operations and help deliver clean, comfortable, and welcoming stays for our guests.
Hyatt Place Amsterdam Airport is a welcoming hotel with 330 rooms, serving both business and leisure guests in a casual and comfortable atmosphere. We care for people so they can be their best-our guests and our colleagues.
Responsibilities:
· You check the inventory of amenities and cleaning products and take care of the orders, while keeping an eye on the Housekeeping budget and controlling the costs.
· You manage the team from a people's perspective to make sure that the team is performing at its best, by coaching, training and evaluating them regularly.
· You strive for the best possible guest experience and check the rooms to make sure that all quality standards are exceeded.
· You keep a close eye on our Brand Standards to ensure that we are always compliant.
· You coach and supervise the General Services Cleaners and Housekeeping Supervisors to guarantee the cleanliness of the complete hotel, this includes rooms, corridors and public areas;
· You work closely together with supervisors from our outside cleaning company to ensure all Room Attendants are well trained and work according to our brand standards;
· You pro-actively look for improvement areas and coordinate with the Rooms Manager for implementation;
· You coordinate all repairs, maintenance and other relevant issues with the Engineering department;
· You take care of our most regular guests, frequent travelers and World of Hyatt members to help personalize their experience;
· You will assist in complaint handling and prevention of reoccurrence;

* This role is graded under the Dutch Horeca CLA using the 'referentiefuncties Horeca' and is classified in salary group VI, including the applicable salary scale for full-time employment. The corresponding gross monthly salary scale ranges from EUR2.645,47.-EUR3.289,31, based on full-time employment. The starting level within the scale depends on experience.
* We offer 25 vacation days (full-time), 8% holiday allowance, travel allowance, daily meal, and 5 extra paid paternity leave days after 1 year

Profil requis du candidat:

Qualifications:
· Enthusiastic & a true team player
· Friendly and service oriented
· Experienced in managing a culturally diverse team
· Experienced in a similar role for at least 1 years or have been a Housekeeping Supervisor/Team leader for several years.
· English speaking; Dutch is not mandatory

Preferred qualifications:
· You are familiar with preferably OPERA and HotSOS or similar systems
