As a Manufacturing Technician, you are responsible for ensuring the optimum availability and technical reliability of the equipment and measuring tools needed to develop and produce medical products. In this varied position, you will be part of the Technician team that is the main point of contact when it comes to maintaining, calibrating, and supporting in the construction of test and (pilot) production equipment. Your responsibilities include executing, and documenting all maintenance, repair, and calibration activities, during which you'll be mentored by an experienced colleague. You will also contribute regularly to projects relating to equipment engineering and manufacturing processes. In short, there'll be plenty of variation! Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
* Perform technical maintenance and calibration tasks following work instructions
* Follow safety, quality, and compliance requirements
* Operate tools, equipment, or machinery to support the production and R&D teams
* Document work accurately in production or quality systems
* Identify issues and escalate them to other technician or supervisor.

Required Knowledge and Experience:
* Recently completed education (MBO level 3-4) in the area of mechanical / electrical technique, high-precision instruments, mechatronics, or any similar technical area
* Interest in a hands on role, working as part of a team
* Interest in growing into a higher level technician role over time.

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
