About the Role
OPW is looking for a highly motivated Business Development / Key Account Manager to drive growth within its cryogenic products and solutions business.
This is a strategic, customer-facing role focused on developing new business opportunities, opening new markets, building strong customer relationships and supporting key accounts across international markets. The role is ideal for someone with a strong commercial mindset, technical understanding and experience in a niche industrial environment.
The successful candidate will act as a bridge between customers, internal sales teams, application engineering, customer service and manufacturing sites. This person will not only manage existing opportunities but actively develop new business in assigned countries and regions.
Your Responsibilities
* Identify and develop new business opportunities within the cryogenic market
* Build relationships with customers, OEMs, distributors and key industry stakeholders
* Develop and execute commercial plans for assigned countries or regions
* Understand customer needs and coordinate suitable technical and commercial solutions
* Work closely with application engineering, customer service, back office and manufacturing teams
* Support proposals, quotations, negotiations and project discussions
* Manage and grow selected key accounts
* Monitor market trends, competitors and customer developments
* Represent OPW at customer visits, trade shows and industry events
* Ensure strong internal alignment before approaching strategic opportunities
Your Profile
* Experience in business development, technical sales or key account management
* Ideally background in cryogenics, industrial gases, valves, fluid handling, process equipment, LNG, hydrogen or related technical markets
* Strong ability to open doors, build trust and develop new customer relationships
* Technical understanding sufficient to discuss customer applications and identify needs
* Commercial mindset with proven ability to drive revenue growth
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Team-oriented personality; not a lone wolf
* Comfortable working in a highly international, cross-functional environment
* Self-driven, structured and able to manage several markets or projects in parallel
* Willingness to travel internationally
